About pretty digital
Constance Fleuriot set up pretty digital in 2015 to make her own games and support other people with their ideas through her creative consultancy.
Her creative labs have developed over two decades of working with individuals and organisations to bring their ideas to life. She takes a positive, fun and purposeful agile approach that is proven to work for clients of all types and ages. She loves bringing collaborative teams together and really showcasing and extending their capabilities. This can be designing games for intergenerational enjoyment, building immersive experiences or scoping out screen-based work.
The first pretty digital commercial game Wonzie World is on sale on itch.io and was supported by the UK Games Fund. Constance has written for Auroch Digital, developed a chatbot with writer/artist Hazel Grian, and developed experimental interactive narratives for Charisma.ai.
She has worked in interactive screen-based narrative and creative technology R&D since the early 1990s. Amongst other things she has taught Game Narrative on the MA Performance: Writing at Central St Martin’s, founded @grrrlgames to encourage women and grrrls of all ages to make games, was Principal Investigator on Mobile Bristol (HPlabs & Bristol Uni) exploring pervasive media in the city, and Professional Advisor to the TOTeM project, a £1.39 million EPSRC funded research project (Universities of Edinburgh & Brunel) to explore social memory in the Internet of Things.
